Firstly, I’d like to express my gratitude (and those of my collaborators, Russell Wallis and Marcus Ward) to those who’ve purchased one of my books in the last year. Money from every book sold goes to charity, and thus far over 30 charities have received donations from royalties arising from book sales.
For various reasons, I didn’t get around to releasing any new books in 2022. Things will be different this year. First up will be a second volume of ‘The Ultimate Unofficial F1 Quiz Book’. It’ll be out in time for the start of the F1 season. My ‘how not to buy a boat’ book will also see the light of day at some point. It was originally going to concentrate on affordable power/motor boats but I intend to widen its scope to include small sailing vessels as well. No point in leaving a job half-done!
I’ll also be going full Indiana Jones (well, without the hat, jacket, whip, bad guys, incidental music etc.) and searching for something that’s lost. I was supposed to do this in 2022 but, er, didn’t. There will be a book about it.
There are other projects too, but details about them can wait till another day. In the meantime, please accept my best wishes for a Happy New Year. There’s no future but the one we make, so let’s make it a good one.
David
